What is EOR (Employer of Record)?
An Employer of Record is a local organization that formally employs a professional on behalf of a client business. It typically administers employment, payroll and benefits while the client directs everyday work. Our proposed service is designed to help US businesses build Philippine teams without setting up their own local entity. The employing entity and exact responsibilities will be identified in your agreement.
What are the costs?
Our indicative Full EOR service fee is US$350 per employee per month, including tax. Independent Contractor is US$99, and Professional Entity Management is US$150. Billing frequency, fee basis and taxes for the contractor services will be confirmed in your quote. Employee salary, benefits funding, recruitment for EOR engagements and contractor compensation are separate. Final scope and inclusions are confirmed in writing; submitting an enquiry does not commit you to a purchase.
How is this different from an independent contractor?
An EOR arrangement is built around employment, including applicable employee entitlements. An independent contractor operates under a different engagement model. The appropriate classification depends on how the relationship works in practice, not simply the title on a contract. We will discuss your needs and confirm the proposed arrangement before engagement.
Are you a virtual agency?
Onyx Virtual Pro is being developed to support recruitment, Employer of Record services and contractor engagements, rather than a shared pool of assistants. EOR services focus on employment and HR administration; contractor services focus on sourcing or managing an independent engagement. Final packages and operating details are being shaped with founding offices.
